Toddler stuttering is particulary normal and it usually is part of normal speech development. Around 20% of children will stutter frequently as they are learning their first language. Research shows that 5% of these children can have keep stuttering for over six months. But in most cases, early childhood stuttering will eventually disappear completely from around three to six months. Stats show that any child who develops a stutter that continues into adulthood in 99% of cases it will not trancend into a long term speech disorder.
